Typically yes. If you have existing vinyl or aluminum siding then it will need to be removed. If you have existing wood siding then we typically can use a fan fold insulation to create a flat surface and side over top of the existing siding
There are usually two options. If your existing window is a new construction window then a j-channel can be installed around the window. If the existing window is a replacement, then installing lumber around the window and wrapping it with aluminum would be necessary. Also, the window wrap can be done on any window if a wider window trim is desired.
It is typically not required, but it does give the home a completely fresh new look. Also, making sure that your ventilation system is working properly is something that our estimators would be sure to discuss with you.
The original purchaser is given a non-prorated lifetime warranty. If the warranty is transferred then the next homeowner will receive a prorated 50yr. warranty.
